Resolving to be Moderate

Just in case you’re struggling with ambitious New Year’s Resolutions:

“Moderation is the silken string running through the pearl chain of all virtues.”
Bishop Joseph Hall (1574 – 1656, English)

Many of us choose the same resolutions each year (lose weight, stop smoking). Actually making such changes in our lives happens through baby steps – not extreme measures. That’s what an article in Psych Central says about keeping resolutions. Hall has wise words as could only be written in the poetic style of centuries ago.
